Mr. Anthony Sarkodie Amankwah has officially assumed office as Principal of Ramseyer Technical Institute (RTI)

 

Mr. Anthony Sarkodie Amankwah has officially assumed office as Principal of Ramseyer Technical Institute (RTI), Kumasi, succeeding Rev. Samuel Ayeh-Hanson, who served from 2012 to 2026.

At a handing-over ceremony on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Board Chairman Rev. Samuel Ahima-Yeboah charged the new Principal to build on the Institute’s legacy and position RTI as a leading TVET institution in Ghana, assuring him of the Board’s and Presbytery’s support.

Mr. Sarkodie brings extensive experience in TVET administration, having served as Vice Principal of RTI since 2015 and previously as Principal of Denkyemuoso Vocational Training Centre. He holds an MPhil in Management and Human Resource Strategy from KNUST, an MBA from UEW, and other qualifications in education and vocational training.

He also serves on the CTVET Quality Assurance Committee and leads the European Commission-funded GreenVETAfrica Project on green waste management in TVET.
